My computer WILL NOT START. My anti-virus service expired, and now it's screwed. And, this puts me in complete pain, as I cannot feed it any pictures to chew on (NOMNOMNOM!), scan anything in, or use my tablet to sketch more pretty pictures... And I was working on one! My poor, pretty Bleiddwn!

Anyways, I'm not done with it yet, but Advent Children may or may not be one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen in my life. That's all.

Oh yeah, and Go Buffs! Git them Sooners, Cody! And Jordan! And Hugh, and all you Golden Monsters out there!


Some good news; my Grandpa sent us four fruitcakes a few days ago. Fruitcake... in September?! IT'S LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE! And since no one else in my family really likes it... MOAR FOR ME!!!

So, here's the deal; the first 10 people who reply to this journal and TELL me that they WANT a spot will have me go through their gallery and pick my three favorite deviations, which in turn will be featured in this journal.

The catch is that to qualify, you MUST post a similar journal, this gives us an opportunity to really appreciate and support this lovely artistic global community we've got going on here. Oh, and the pictures aren't ranked in any specific order, I just like 'em all. ^^.

#1: A very cute style, with a lot unexpected (and pleasant) suprises flaoting around in the gallery!
[link] - This sketchy style is different from the rest of the pictures, but you have to admit; it's cool! I love the colors and it's overall informal feel.
[link] - The lineart isn't hers, but the coloring itself makes this peice worthwhile! Love the boldness and textures...

#2: Some serious traditional coloring work, here! Her overall pencil work is much better than mine, and I'm in constant awe of it! It was hard to pick just three...

These are great, for just sketches! I appreciate some good doodles, but these are over the top! I really had to dig through to get them…And worth it!

#3: Mostly pencils, with a few colored peices sprinkled in. Refreshingly simple drawings, many of them would make great lineart or coloring projects!

My favourite of the bunch- it has smiple, clean lines that are really appealing to me. Of course, since I live in what could pretty much be called 'Hippyville USA', I love the peace theme... and since I'm myself, I love the contrasting themes too! And the wings rock. If this was a clean lineart, really nicely coloring, I might be tempted to but it on a t-shirt, or something.

Oh...my...goodness, look at those beautiful tails! :3 They're so elegant, I absolutely love them! And the overall positioning, and layout of the picture, I think is of particular awesomeness.

#4 An artist on here that I actually know outside of DA! XD Anyways, this guy is always sketching like mad, but he doesn't upload even half of his stuff... There's a lot of stuff worth looking at, though!

This one's cool! Unfortunately, the picture's a bit blurry, but one can still tell it's awesome! I love the background best; it almost looks like a picture was taken! The light effect is cool...

I got to see the original sketch for this one. The chains and darkness are a nice, reoccuring touch, and I'm pretty sure it was colored traditionally! *has upmost respect for traditionally-colored peices*

I got to see this one too; apparently he sketched it while in the car. That always makes my stomach queasy. >< Anyways, even though it doesn't have a background or anything, the fox itself is very noicely colored!
